Each TWI course awards a set number of contact hours, listed on your certificate after you complete the modules, pass the exam (75% passing score), and submit the course evaluation. Georgia physical therapists report contact hours under the Georgia PT Board's self-attestation model through CE Broker. If you are licensed in another state or profession, confirm with your licensing board that the coursework is accepted.
The PLP is TWI's flagship certification — earned by completing all 21 courses (156 contact hours) across the Business, Clinical, and Integration & Leadership tracks and passing the TWI 303 capstone review, which requires a written case report and a recorded oral case presentation. PLP holders gain lifelong community support, mentorship, and the opportunity to explore Tidal Wave Wellness franchise opportunities.
Absolutely. Every course stands alone and awards its own contact hours. You can take courses in any order (though some advanced courses have recommended prerequisites). Many practitioners start with a single course and decide to pursue the full PLP credential later.
Yes. Every TWI course is delivered self-paced online through the student portal, with lifetime access. Optional in-person lab sessions for TWI 204 (Musculoskeletal Ultrasound) and TWI 206 (Regenerative Biologics) are coming soon.
Most foundation-level courses (100 and 200 series) have no prerequisites beyond holding an active healthcare license. Advanced courses (300 series) recommend completing relevant foundation courses first. The capstone course (TWI 303) requires completion of prerequisite Business, Clinical, and Integration courses.
There is no time limit to complete the PLP. We recommend a 2-3 year timeline, but practitioners can move at their own pace. Each course certificate lists its contact hours as soon as you complete that course.
Tidal Wave Institute is the educational arm of Tidal Wave Wellness — North Atlanta's premier performance medicine and longevity practice. Our curriculum is built from the same protocols and systems used at TWW, and PLP-credentialed practitioners can explore TWW franchise opportunities.
Yes. Practices can buy Team Seats in the student portal: purchase seats for a course or bundle and assign them to your clinicians with redemption codes. Bundles are also discounted against individual course prices. Contact us for larger corporate training packages.
Single courses are fully refundable within 7 days of purchase if less than 20% of the course has been viewed and no certificate has been issued.
