Course Overview
A comprehensive clinical course introducing the science and clinical application of therapeutic peptides within a performance medicine framework. Study the pharmacology of FDA-regulated and compounded peptides used in longevity, recovery, body composition, and neuroendocrine optimization — including GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, PT-141, epithalon, and secretagogues such as CJC-1295/Ipamorelin — with emphasis on scope-appropriate application, patient screening, protocol design, monitoring, and referral.
Learning Outcomes
After completing TWI 201: Peptide Therapy for Rehab Professionals, you will be able to:
- Explain receptor pharmacology, signaling cascade, and tissue effect for each peptide class covered.
- Interpret the 8-marker candidate panel (IGF-1, HbA1c, fasting insulin, hs-CRP, total testosterone, ferritin, TSH, free T4).
- Sequence rehab load, sleep, and nutrition against peptide pharmacodynamics.
- Recognize adverse-event signals and trigger the collaborative escalation framework.
- Document and communicate structured monitoring data to the prescribing physician.
- Compare subcutaneous, oral, and intranasal delivery routes and select route-appropriate applications.
