Course Overview

Personalized medicine has moved out of the research lab and into the exam room. Consumer and clinician-ordered SNP panels (3X4 Genetics, Nutrition Genome, DNAlife, StrateGene) and DNA-methylation biological-age tests (TruDiagnostic TruAge, DunedinPACE, GrimAge, PhenoAge) are now common inputs to longevity and performance programs. TWI 211 is an intermediate-level clinical course that teaches DPTs, DCs, and allied movement-medicine professionals how to read these reports competently, translate individual variants and epigenetic scores into evidence-graded lifestyle recommendations, and integrate the results into a written care plan without overstepping scope of practice.
